About the Project
The NoCo Manufacturing Partnership provides information and support for businesses and industries involved in manufacturing, students considering careers and the surrounding community. They are driven by manufacturers to support manufacturers, and currently boast over 200 manufacturing members! It is all-volunteer, business-led, and free to become a member.
NoCo contacted encite branding + marketing + creative for video production.
Our objective concerned NoCo’s need to turn ideas into high-quality, actionable assets that could be used across YouTube, social media channels, and more to promote the organization and encourage new membership. encite handled working out an initial script, filming, directing, and post-production editing to include branded elements like lower thirds.
Strategy
The client wanted the videos to convey the benefits of membership to an organization like NoCo, using their focus on community involvement, obvious passion for the manufacturing industry and partnership with organizations in all sectors of the economy to encourage new potential members to engage. In the videos, this messaging is presented through the voices of a few speakers, each a member of the NoCo community. Subjects in the video represented every type of NoCo member: education, manufacturing, public partners, service providers, and more! In the videos, these speakers feel like a counsel of business know-how, inviting you to join their community.
Their overall messages are:
• The NoCo Partnership is like a cheat code, offering local businesses an open forum tocome together and learn from each other
• The connections you can make after joining lead to new business, new clients, new projects and an almost immediate boost to revenue and growth
• The Partnership is a great place to connect and engage with a group of educators and leaders in the manufacturing workforce who try to address industry challenges, showcase the opportunities in manufacturing and bring industries together
• The Partnership exposes business owners to different types of companies, setting the stage for long-lasting supplier/buyer relationships
The tone of the videos is heartfelt and personal. The speakers have gravitas in the industry, but still feel connected and relatable. Their words come from a place of passion for the industry, and a genuine desire to give advice and motivate people to join.
Target Audience
In general, the typical target for the Partnership is a manufacturer, in industrial business,
or a professional in need of specific equipment or supplies that can be provided by someone else in the network.
