Benefits of Using Google Ads 

Let’s start with the basics. What are Google Ads? 

Google Ads is Google’s online advertising program that allows users to create ads that are designed to reach the specific audiences their products and services are targeted towards. 

Of course, there are many, many different advertising mediums, all with their own set of benefits. So, what makes Google Ads any different? 

  1. The reach 

Google is such a massively pervasive company that using the word “company” to describe them almost feels minimizing. “Entity” might be more accurate. I mean, the term “Google” is literally in the Merriam Webster Dictionary. When most people have a question they need answered or a problem they need help solving, their first stop is a quick Google search. In fact, the search engine averages 5 billion searches every single day. 

  1. The intent 

The second reason Google Ads are generally more effective than other methods like social media advertising, for example, is because people on Google are actually looking for you, whether they realize that consciously or not. 

On Google, people are looking for answers. In many cases, your ad can serve as that answer or solution to whatever problem they’re facing. Google Ads lets potential customers and prospects come to you “on their own” and only helps position you as top-of-mind when they’re ready to make that purchasing decision. 

  1. The cost 

Any marketing budget can find some way to leverage Google Ads. The platform even allows you to put up constraints on daily spend and gives you complete control of your campaign’s budget. Decide how much you’re willing to spend each month, then adjust depending on performance. If an ad is underperforming, decrease your spend. If you’re getting a ton of clicks, you can throw a few more dollars that direction. 

The network has made it possible for businesses of all sizes to achieve their advertising goals with nearly any budget. With more than 2 trillion searches every year, you’re bound to garner some sort of attention – even with a small campaign.
